Located at 2832 Slough St, Mississauga, ON, Seva Food Bank serves as a vital resource for low-income families across seven postal codes in Mississauga, addressing critical issues such as food security, poverty reduction, and economic renewal.

Our work is deeply rooted in the principles of dignity, cultural sensitivity, and inclusion. We believe that every individual deserves respect and consideration, and our solutions are crafted with thoughtful community engagement to ensure they meet the unique needs of those we serve.

Guided by six core values, we strive to make a lasting difference:

-
Sarbat da Bhalla - The Wellbeing of All: We believe in the divinity of every individual and take it as our responsibility to ensure that no one in our community is left behind.
-
Chardi Kala - Eternal Optimism: We approach every challenge with the belief that tomorrow will be better than today, infusing this optimism into all our interactions and plans.
-
Seva - Selfless Service: Service is at the heart of everything we do. We serve with humility, compassion, and gratitude, treating everyone with dignity and respect.
-
Diversity and Inclusion: We honor the diverse values, beliefs, and cultural needs of all communities, ensuring our services are accessible and inclusive.
-
Transparency and Accountability: We are committed to providing our stakeholders with timely and relevant information, answering for our actions and commitments.
-
Client-centric and Community-informed: Our solutions are shaped by the community, for the community, ensuring that the voices of those we serve are heard and valued.

At Seva Food Bank, we are more than just a food bank; we are a beacon of hope and a symbol of community solidarity. Together, we work towards a brighter future for all.
